Step 1: Sell for scrap.

As much as I agree with everyone else in saying just sell your PC and buy a Mac (I plan on picking a Macbook Pro up by the end of the year), for some that isn't possible. So instead of 7 steps, how about just 1? Go to http://www.osx-e.com/ and install FlyakiteOSX. Okay so I guess thats two steps, whatever.

I personally have never tried it but my teacher has and it looks pretty good.

Still waiting for MacBook Pro. Until then, flyakite osx v 3.0 rocks!

I don't see the use for doing this. I mean I thought it was cool too when I first started theming windows but after awahile it just lost the appeal.

Why bother installing a superior OS on inferior hardware?

                    ;)

It is like throwing turbocharged badges on a Civic (analogizing the pathetic branding, not Macs and PCs in general.) You're still using a PC; you just now look ridiculously tacky for trying to make it look like a Mac, complete with Apple logos.

It is more understandable if one just wants a similar UI style (dock bar, file menu navigation.)

Dudes, this is AMAZING. Ignore the snobby Mac users and try it out! If you're tired of the now-stagnant XP interface, give this (http://osx.portraitofakite.com) a try - it cured what was ailing me!

Hah ah yes, but that would be illegal. ;)

I have a one step solution:

                                    • Install Flyakite
